Old Teachers are Best

Why are the old teachers the best?

1.  Easiest to ignore.
Jesus says "I give you a new commandment" but how often do you hear "11 commandments?"

2.  Most exposed
The older the teacher the longer all the other teachers have been mocking, deconstructing, fact checking, error finding, and mimicking poorly.

3.  Least convincing
Personal charisma can distract (politics?) but if you have been dead a long long time it's a tougher trick to pull off.

4.  Fewest words
The longer you are dead the better chance that the blah blah you wrote is no longer around.  Likely the blah blah that did survive is the juicy bits.

5.  No students
Teachers aren't as annoying as their students!  Dead guys have fewer know-it-alls who want to interpret, edit, explain, and give their own version.

6. All fake
The older the teacher the more dubious the text and the greater the chance that the text was written by a little old lady in her basement.
